Oil Pressure Relief Valve: Installation

  1. Lubricate relief valve with oil.
    CAUTION: The pressure relief valve must be installed as shown in Figure, or engine damage may occur.
  2. Install relief valve, spring and retainer cap. See Figure. Tighten cap to 12 N.m (105 in. lbs.).
  3. Install the oil pan. (Refer to ENGINE/LUBRICATION/OIL PAN - INSTALLATION) .
