INSPECTION PROCEDURE 6: Condenser Fan does not Operate: Diagnosis

  1. STEP 1. Check the condenser fan motor. 

    Refer to CONDENSER AND CONDENSER FAN MOTOR .

    Q: Is the condenser fan in good condition? 

    YES  : Go to Step 2.

    NO:  Replace the condenser fan motor. Go to  Step 3.

  2. STEP 2. Check the fan control module. 

    Refer to FAN CONTROLLER CHECK  .

    Q: Is the fan control module in good condition? 

    YES  : Go to Step 3.

    NO:  Replace the fan control module. (Refer to RADIATOR  ). Go to Step 3.

  3. STEP 3. Retest the system. 

    Q: Does the condenser fan operate correctly? 

    YES  : The procedure is complete.

    NO:  Return to  Step 1.
