Rocker Arms & Push Rods: Installation

Ensure push rods are seated in valve lifters. Install rocker arm assembly in original location. Install steel retainers on rocker arm shaft bolts. Slowly tighten rocker arm shaft bolts to specification, starting at center and working out. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  . To install remaining components, reverse removal procedure.
