- If instrument cluster asterisk (*) flashes, check CCD serial data bus line. See appropriate TESTS W/CODES - BODY CONTROL COMPUTER article in ENGINE PERFORMANCE.
- If asterisk is not flashing, check for defective headlight circuit fuse in fuse block. Check for defective wiring or loose connections between headlight switch and body computer. See WIRING DIAGRAMS .
- Check for defective headlight switch. Check ground circuits for continuity. See WIRING DIAGRAMS .
