Water Pump

  1. Drain cooling system. Remove water pump drive belt. Remove right front lower fender shield. Remove water pump pulley. Remove water pump bolts. Remove water pump and "O" ring.
  2. To install, reverse removal procedure using new "O" ring. Tighten bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  at end of this article.
  3. When filling cooling system, remove engine temperature sending unit. Sending unit is located in front of thermostat housing, near spark plug wire holder. Fill cooling system until coolant reaches this level. Install sending unit and tighten to 60 INCH lbs. (7 N.m). Finish filling cooling system.
