Valve Lifters: Installation

To install, reverse removal procedure. Install components in original location. Lubricate valve lifters with engine oil before installation. Tighten bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  at end of this article.

CAUTION: DO NOT allow engine RPM to exceed fast idle until valve lifters have filled with oil and become quiet.
