Installation Procedure

    NOTE:

    Do NOT reuse the brake hose washers.

    Front Brake Hose Washer (3) - Install NEW [2x]

  2. Front Brake Hose (2) @ Front Brake Caliper - Install
    3. CAUTION:

    Fastener Caution

  3. Front Brake Hose Fitting Bolt (1) @ Front Brake Caliper - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications

    Front Brake Hose Bracket Nut (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications 

  5. Remove the caps or plugs from the brake pipe fitting and the brake hose.

    Front Brake Hose Retainer (2) - Install

  7. Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Front Brake Pipe Fitting (1) @ Front Brake Hose (3) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications 
  8. Install the front tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation
  9. Connect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
  10. Bleed the brake system. Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Pressure) 
  11. Lower the vehicle.
  12. Fill the brake master cylinder reservoir to the maximum-full level with GM approved brake fluid from a clean, sealed brake fluid container. Brake Master Cylinder Reservoir Filling
