Installation Procedure

Install the automatic transmission wiring harness (3). Control Valve Assembly and Transmission Wiring Harness Installation
Install the control valve body (2) and the 7 NEW control valve body assembly bolts (1) in the transmission.

CAUTION:Refer to Fastener Caution .
Install the 7 bolts (1, 2, 3).
- Tighten in the sequence shown, refer to Control Valve Assembly and Transmission Wiring Harness Installation .
- Connect the transmission control wiring harness to the control valve body.
Install the transmission fluid filter (6) and fluid pan assembly. Automatic Transmission Fluid, Fluid Pan and/or Filter Replacement
- Perform the solenoid valve characterization reprogramming procedure. Q77 Transmission Control Solenoid Valve Characterization Programming (10L60, 10L80 or 10L90)
