Removal Procedure

- Plenum Front Panel - Remove - Plenum Front Panel Replacement (LTG LGX)
Fuel Pump Insulator (2) - Remove - Fuel Pump Insulator Replacement (Inner) , or Fuel Pump Insulator Replacement (Outer)
Evaporative Emission Canister Purge Solenoid Valve (1) - Remove - Evaporative Emission Canister Purge Solenoid Valve Replacement
Radiator Surge Tank (2) - Remove - Radiator Surge Tank Replacement (LTG)
Radiator Inlet Pipe Bolt (2) - Remove
Disconnect the electrical connectors (1-4).
- Wiring Harness Retainer (3) - Remove [2x]
- Disconnect the evaporative emission pipe from the intake manifold retainer (5).
- Throttle Body Assembly - Remove - Throttle Body Assembly Replacement
Engine Mount Vacuum Hose Extension (1) @Intake Manifold - Disconnect - Engine Mount Vacuum Hose Extension Replacement
- Lower the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (ZL1) , or Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (Convertible)
- Generator - Remove - Generator Replacement (LTG - with V18)
Intake Manifold Bolt (1) - Remove
Intake Manifold Bolt (1) - Remove [5x]
- Intake Manifold (2) - Remove
Intake Manifold Gasket (1) - Remove and DISCARD
- Clean and inspect the intake manifold. Intake Manifold Cleaning and Inspection .
- Transfer components as necessary.
