Liftgate Replacement

Refer to Rear Compartment Lid Hold-Open Device Warning .

Preliminary Procedures

  1. Underhood Lamp Replacement
  2. Rear Closure Center Applique Replacement
  3. Liftgate Strut Replacement 
1 Rear Compartment Lid Bolt [4x]
CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .


Tighten 
25 N.m (18 lb ft)
2 Rear Compartment Lid

Procedure

  1. Disconnect the electrical connector.
  2. With the aid of an assistant, remove the rear compartment lid.
  3. Transfer components as necessary.
