Side Window Defogger Outlet Outer Duct - Right Side (1) - Remove
Instrument Panel Wiring Harness Retainer (1) @ Side Window Defogger Outlet Outer Duct - Right Side - Remove
Side Window Defogger Outlet Outer Duct - Right Side (1) - Remove
Instrument Panel Outer Air Outlet Duct Bolt (1) - Remove [5x]
Side Window Defogger Outlet Duct Retainer (1) - Remove [3x]
Side Window Defogger Outlet Duct - Left Side (1) - Remove

Instrument Panel Outer Air Outlet Duct Bolt (1) - Remove [4x]
- Wiring Harness Retainer (2) @ Instrument Panel Outer Air Outlet Duct - Remove [3x]

Head-Up Display (2) - Remove - Head-Up Display Replacement
Floor Front Air Outlet Duct - Left Side (1) - Remove - Floor Front Air Outlet Duct Replacement - Left Side
Air Conditioning Evaporator Case Drain Tube (1) - Remove - Air Conditioning Evaporator Case Drain Tube Replacement
Brake and Accelerator and Clutch Pedal Bracket Bolt (1) - Remove [3x]
Heater and Air Conditioning Evaporator and Blower Module Bolt (1) - Remove
Instrument Panel Center Lower Bracket Bolt (1) - Remove [2x]
- NOTE:
When removing the right side instrument panel tie bar bolts, slide bolts out far enough to clear the tie bar, and leave the bolts in the cavity. The bolts do not have to be removed from the vehicle.
Instrument Panel Tie Bar Bolt (1) - Remove [4x]
Data Link Connector Bolt (1) - Remove [2x]
- Data Link Connector - Remove
- Disconnect and reposition harness as necessary.
Use a flat-bladed plastic trim tool in order to release the body hinge pillar garnish molding (1) clips.
- Remove the left and right side body hinge pillar garnish moldings (1).
Use a flat-bladed plastic trim tool in order to release the front side door sill garnish molding (1) clips.
- Remove the left and right side front side door sill garnish moldings (1).
Use a flat-bladed plastic trim tool in order to release the driver footrest (1) from the driver footrest bracket.
- Driver Footrest (1) - Remove
Instrument Panel Wiring Harness Ground Bolt (1) - Remove [2x]
- Ground terminal (2) - Remove [2x]
- Electrical Connector (3) - Disconnect [6x]
Electrical Connector (1) @ Restraints Control Module - Disconnect
- Wiring Harness Retainer (2) - Remove
- Electrical Connector (3) @ Serial Data Gateway Module - Disconnect
Instrument Panel Wiring Harness Ground Bolt (1) - Remove [2x]
- Ground terminal (2) - Remove [2x]
- Electrical Connector (3) - Disconnect [6x]
Disconnect the brake pedal position sensor electrical connector (1).
- Wiring Harness Retainer (2) - Remove [5x]
Remove the instrument panel tie bar and heater and air conditioning evaporator and blower module (1) together with the aid of an assistant.
- Place the instrument panel tie bar and heater and air conditioning evaporator and blower module (1) on a clean work surface.
- Note the location and routing of the instrument panel wiring harness prior to removal to ensure proper installation.
Radio Bracket Bolt (1) - Remove [3x]
- Radio Bracket (2) - Remove
Instrument Panel Wiring Harness Clip (1) - Remove
Body Wiring Harness Fuse Block Bracket Bolt (1) - Remove [3x]
- Air Distributor Case Bolt (2) - Remove
Heater and Air Conditioning Evaporator and Blower Module Nut (1) - Remove [2x]
- Heater and Air Conditioning Evaporator and Blower Module Bolt (2) - Remove
- Disconnect the electrical connectors.
Instrument Panel Tie Bar (1) - Remove
Air Conditioning Sealing Washer-Large (1) - Remove and DISCARD
- Air Conditioning Sealing Washer-Small (2) - Remove and DISCARD
