Removal Procedure

WARNING:

Brake Fluid Irritant Warning

CAUTION:

Brake Fluid Effects on Paint and Electrical Components Caution

  1. Without draining the coolant and without disconnecting the hoses, position aside the radiator surge tank. - Radiator Surge Tank Replacement (LTG) , or Radiator Surge Tank Replacement (LFV)
  2. Remove and properly dispose of the brake fluid in the master cylinder reservoir.

    Brake Master Cylinder Hose Quick Connect Fitting (1) - Disconnect

    Brake Master Cylinder Hose Brake Pipe Fitting (1) - Disconnect

  5. Plug the brake pressure modulator valve (BPMV) inlet to prevent brake fluid loss and contamination.
  6. Brake Master Cylinder Hose - Remove
