Radiator Surge Tank Replacement (LFV)

Preliminary Procedures

1. Drain the cooling system. Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE 47716) 
2. Heater Coolant Pump Hose @ Radiator Surge Tank - Remove - Heater Coolant Pump Hose Replacement (Inlet) , or Heater Coolant Pump Hose Replacement (Outlet)
3. Engine Coolant Air Bleed Hose @ Radiator Surge Tank - Remove - Engine Coolant Air Bleed Hose Replacement (Turbocharger Coolant Return Pipe to Water Outlet, LFV) , or Engine Coolant Air Bleed Hose Replacement (Turbocharger Coolant Return Pipe to Radiator Surge Tank, LFV) 
4. Engine Wiring Harness @ Radiator Surge Tank - Unclip

Procedure

1. Fill the cooling system to the proper level. Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE 47716) 
2. Start the engine and check for coolant leaks.
