Preliminary Procedure Liftgate Upper Center Trim Finish Panel Replacement Release the liftgate strut from the liftgate. Liftgate Strut Replacement
1	Liftgate Hinge Bolt [ 4x ] CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Procedure Disconnect the electrical connector. Pull the liftgate wiring grommet, the connectors, and the rear washer hose out of the body. Mark the location of the liftgate hinges to the body with a grease pencil. Tighten 22 N.m (16 lb-ft)
2	Liftgate Procedure With the aid of an assistant, remove the liftgate. Transfer components as necessary. Adjust liftgate as needed. Liftgate Adjustment

Procedure

Disconnect the electrical connector.
Pull the liftgate wiring grommet, the connectors, and the rear washer hose out of the body.
Mark the location of the liftgate hinges to the body with a grease pencil.

Tighten
22 N.m (16 lb-ft)
