Installation Procedure
Bend the assembly line locking tabs (1) back into position.
With the aid of an assistant, position the instrument panel tie bar assembly into the vehicle. (1)
- Remove the HVAC module temporary support.
- Install the instrument panel wiring harness to the position noted in the removal procedure.
Instrument Panel Upper Bolt (1) - Install and tighten 22 N.m(16 lb-ft)
Instrument Panel Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [ 2x ] 22 N.m(16 lb-ft)
- Instrument Panel Tie Bar Reinforcement Bolt (2) - Install and tighten [ 2x ] 22 N.m(16 lb-ft)
Instrument Panel Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [ 2x ] 22 N.m(16 lb-ft)
- Instrument Panel Tie Bar Reinforcement Bolt (2) - Install and tighten [ 2x ] 22 N.m(16 lb-ft)
Attach the I/P wiring harness retaining clips to the Instrument Panel Tie Bar and connect all necessary electrical connectors.
Install the Instrument Panel Wiring Harness Junction Block (1) to the Instrument Panel Tie Bar and clip the head lamp harness to the block.
Instrument Panel Tie Bar Brace (2) - Install
- Instrument Panel Tie Bar Brace Bolt (1) - [ 4x ] 22 N.m(16 lb-ft)
- Clip the electrical harness to the brace.
Heater and Air Conditioning Evaporator and Blower Module Bolt (1) - Install and tighten 5 N.m(44 lb/in)
Heater and Air Conditioning Evaporator and Blower Module Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [ 3x ] 5 N.m(44 lb/in)
Floor Front Air Outlet Duct Push Pin (1) - Install - Floor Front Air Outlet Duct Replacement
Radio (1) - Install - Radio Replacement
Instrument Panel Lower Airbag - Passenger Side (2) - Install - Instrument Panel Lower Airbag Replacement - Passenger Side
Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel Insulator (3) - Install - Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel Insulator Replacement
Instrument Panel Assembly (1) - Install - Instrument Panel Assembly Replacement
