Removal Procedure

- Remove the turbocharger heat shield. Turbocharger Heat Shield Replacement
- Remove the turbocharger outlet duct connector. Turbocharger Outlet Duct Connector Replacement
Disconnect the turbocharger wastegate actuator electrical connector (1).
- Disconnect the engine wiring harness retainer (2)
Remove the turbocharger wastegate actuator retainer (1).
- Remove the wastegate valve spring (2).
- Remove the compressor air intake turbo wastegate actuator rod (3) from the turbocharger assembly.
Remove the 2 turbocharger wastegate actuator bolts (1).
- Remove the turbocharger wastegate actuator stud (2).
Remove the turbocharger wastegate actuator (1) from the turbocharger assembly.
