Installation Procedure

NOTE:

Ensure the brake master cylinder gasket is positioned correctly against the master cylinder mounting flange.

Position the master cylinder to the power brake booster.

NOTE:
Install NEW nuts.

Brake Master Cylinder Nut (1) - Install and tighten 49 N.m (36 lb ft) [2x]
Connect the brake fluid level indicator switch electrical connector.

Brake Pedal Retainer (1) & Brake Pedal (2) @ Power Brake Booster Pushrod - Secure
Brake Pedal Position Sensor - Install - Brake Pedal Position Sensor Replacement

NOTE:
A small amount of denatured alcohol may be used as a lubricant for assembly.

Power Brake Booster Vacuum Sensor (1) - Install
Power Brake Booster Vacuum Sensor Electrical Connector - Connect
Reposition and install the radiator surge tank. Radiator Surge Tank Replacement (LCV) , or Radiator Surge Tank Replacement (LGX) , or Radiator Surge Tank Replacement (LSY)
