Drain the cooling system. Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static LCV, LGX) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE 47716 LCV, LGX) .
Radiator Surge Tank Inlet Hose @ Radiator Surge Tank - Remove - Radiator Surge Tank Inlet Hose Replacement (LCV)
Radiator Surge Tank Outlet Hose @ Radiator Surge Tank - Remove - Radiator Surge Tank Outlet Hose Replacement (LCV)

Radiator Surge Tank Bolt

CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .

Tighten
9 N.m (80 lb in)

Radiator Surge Tank

Procedure

Fill the cooling system to the proper level. Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static LCV, LGX) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE 47716 LCV, LGX) .
Start the engine and check for coolant leaks.
