Electronic Brake Booster Control Module Replacement

Preliminary Procedure

  1. Radiator Surge Tank Replacement (LCV) , or Radiator Surge Tank Replacement (LGX) , or Radiator Surge Tank Replacement (LSY)
  2. Prepare the electronic brake booster control module for removal. Control Module References
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector after the electronic brake booster control module is prepared for removal.
1 Electronic Brake Control Module Bolt [6x]
NOTE:

Some components not shown for graphic clarity.

CAUTION:

Fastener Caution

Procedure

  1. Install NEW bolts. Do NOT reuse old bolts.
  2. Tighten in the sequence shown.

Tighten

  • First Pass: 2.5 N.m (22 lb in)
  • Final Pass: 3.5 N.m (31 lb in)

Procedure

  1. Connect the electrical connector.
  2. Reprogram the electronic brake booster control module. Control Module References
