Rear Seat Removal and Installation (40 Percent Seat)

Preliminary Procedure 
Rear Compartment Floor Stowage Compartment Divider Replacement
1 Rear Seat Track Cover [3x]
2 Rear Seat Bolt [4x]
CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .


Tighten in sequence 
45 N.m (33 lb ft)
3 Rear Seat

Procedure

  1. Disconnect electrical connections, if applicable.
  2. Fold the rear seat back cushion down to gain access to the rear seat bolts.
  3. Disconnect the recliner cable from the release lever cable equalizer. Lift the carpet flap to access, slide the retainer door open and disconnect the cable.
  4. With the aid of an assistant remove the rear seat, by lifting and pulling the seat upward to disengage it from the floor.
