Installation Procedure

- NOTE:
Install a NEW gasket.
Catalytic Converter Gasket (3) - Install
- Exhaust Heat Exchanger (3) - Install
- Catalytic Converter Nut (2) - Install and tighten [2x] 22 N.m (16 lb ft)
- Exhaust Heat Exchanger Bracket Nut (1) - Tighten [2x] 22 N.m (16 lb ft)
Exhaust Heat Exchanger Bracket Nut (1) - Tighten [2x] 22 N.m (16 lb ft)
Connect the exhaust control valve actuator electrical wiring harness connector. (4)
- Fuel Heater Inlet Hose (3) - Connect
- Fuel Heater Outlet Hose (2) - Connect
- Hose Clamp (1) - Engage [2x] - Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type
- Exhaust Front Pipe@Exhaust Heat Exchanger - Connect - Exhaust Front Pipe Replacement (LKN)
- Exhaust Heat Shield - Install - Exhaust Heat Shield Replacement (LKN)
- Fill the cooling system to the proper level. Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE-47716) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static)
