Installation Procedure
With the aid of an assistant, carefully lower the body to the frame. (1)
Drivetrain and Front Suspension Support Bolt (1) - Hand tighten [4x]
Use CH-51034-A Cradle Alignment Pins to align the cradle to the body. (1)
- CAUTION:
Refer to Fastener Caution
Drivetrain and Front Suspension Support Bolt (1) - Tighten [4x] 160 N.m (118 lb ft)
- Drivetrain and Front Suspension Support Bolt (2) - Install and tighten [6x] 58 N.m (43 lb ft)
- Remove the EN-39580 stand from under the vehicle.
- Install the transmission mount strut bracket. Transmission Mount Strut Bracket Replacement
Front Stabilizer Shaft Link (1) @Front Stabilizer Shaft - Install - Stabilizer Shaft Link Replacement
Lower Control Arm Replacement (1) @Knuckle - Install
Steering Linkage Outer Tie Rod Replacement (3) @Knuckle - Install
- Install the front bumper fascia. Front Bumper Fascia Replacement
Underbody Front Air Deflector Replacement (2) - Install
Front Bumper Fascia Center Air Deflector (2) - Tighten - Front Bumper Fascia Center Air Deflector Replacement
- Exhaust Front Pipe - Install - Exhaust Front Pipe Replacement (LFV)
Intermediate Steering Shaft Replacement (2) - Install
- Install the intermediate steering shaft inner boot. INTERMEDIATE STEERING SHAFT INNER BOOT REPLACEMENT
Connect the steering gear electrical connectors. (1)
- Wiring Harness Retainer (2) - Engage [2x]
- Install the front tires and wheels. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation
- Lower the vehicle.
- Remove the engine support fixture.
- Align the vehicle only if replacing the drivetrain and front suspension cradle. Wheel Alignment Measurement
