Installation Procedure

Control Valve Body Cover Wiring Connector Hole Seal (3) - Install a NEW seal.
- Control Valve Body Cover Seal (2) - Install
- Control Valve Body Cover (1) - Install
Control Valve Body Cover Stud (1) - Install [8x] - Hand tighten
- Control Valve Body Cover Bolt (2) - Install [4x] - Hand tighten
- Control Valve Body Cover Stud (1) and Control Valve Body Cover Bolt (2) - Tighten in sequence [12x] 9 N.m (80 lb in)
- Connect the control valve body transmission control module electrical connector.
Install the transmission control module bracket (2). Transmission Control Module Bracket Replacement
- Install the battery negative cable to the transmission. Battery Negative Cable Replacement (LFV)
- Install the transmission fluid cooler inlet pipe. Transmission Fluid Cooler Inlet Pipe Replacement (LFV with MRG (at the air conditioning condenser bracket)) , or Transmission Fluid Cooler Inlet Pipe Replacement (LFV with MRG (from the transmission to the transmission fluid cooler inlet pipe))
- Install the transmission fluid cooler outlet pipe. Transmission Fluid Cooler Outlet Pipe Replacement (LFV with MRG)
- Install the charge air cooler outlet air tube. Charge Air Cooler Outlet Air Tube Replacement
Radiator Inlet Hose (3) - Install - Radiator Inlet Hose Replacement (LFV)
- Install the battery tray. Battery Tray Replacement (LFV)
- Fill the transmission with transmission fluid. Transmission Fluid Drain and Fill
- Check the transmission fluid level. Transmission Fluid Level and Condition Check
NOTE:
The control valve body cover seal is reusable. Inspect the seal to determine if it may be reused.
CAUTION:
