Removal Procedure

- Drain the cooling system. Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE-47716) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static)
- Engine Control Module and Bracket - Remove and position aside Engine Control Module Replacement
Heater Coolant Pump Hose Clamp (1) - Disengage
Use the BO-38185 Hose Clamp Pliers.
- Heater Coolant Pump Hose - Inlet (2) @ Heater Coolant Pump - Remove and position aside
Heater Coolant Pump Hose Clamp (1) - Disengage
Use the BO-38185 Hose Clamp Pliers.
- Heater Coolant Pump Hose - Outlet (2) @ Heater Coolant Pump - Remove and position aside
Electrical Connector (3) @ Heater Coolant Pump - Remove and position aside
- Remove the engine electrical harness retainers (1) from the heater coolant pump bracket and position engine electrical harness (2) aside.
Heater Coolant Pump Bracket Bolt (1) - Remove [2x]
- Heater Coolant Pump (2) - Remove from the vehicle.
