Installation Procedure

Heater Coolant Pump (2) - Position in the vehicle.

CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .

Heater Coolant Pump Bracket Bolt (1) - Install and tighten 9 N.m (80 lb in) [2x]

Electrical Connector (3) @ Heater Coolant Pump - Install
Reposition engine electrical harness (2) and install the engine electrical harness retainers (1) onto the heater coolant pump bracket.

Heater Coolant Pump Hose - Outlet (2) @ Heater Coolant Pump - Install
Heater Coolant Pump Hose Clamp (1) - Engage
Use the BO-38185 Hose Clamp Pliers.

Heater Coolant Pump Hose - Inlet (2) @ Heater Coolant Pump - Install
Heater Coolant Pump Hose Clamp (1) - Engage
Use the BO-38185 Hose Clamp Pliers.
Engine Control Module and Bracket - Install Engine Control Module Replacement
Fill the cooling system to the proper level. Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE-47716) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static)
Start the engine and check for coolant leaks.
