Removal Procedure

- Drain the cooling system. Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE-47716) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static)
- Engine Control Module and Bracket - Remove and position aside Engine Control Module Replacement
Heater Coolant Pump Hose Clamp (1) - Disengage - Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type
- Heater Coolant Pump Hose (2) @ Radiator Surge Tank - Remove
Heater Coolant Pump Hose Clamp (1) - Disengage - Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type
- Heater Coolant Pump Hose (2) @ Water Outlet - Remove
Heater Coolant Pump Hose Clamp (1) - Disengage - Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type
- Heater Coolant Pump Hose (2) @ Heater Coolant Pump - Remove
Heater Coolant Pump Hose (1) Remove from the vehicle.
