Installation Procedure

- Install the air conditioning evaporator tube to the vehicle.
Air Conditioning Evaporator Tube (1) @ Front Compartment Inner Side Rail - Install
Install NEW sealing washers. (2) - Air Conditioning System Seal Replacement
- Air Conditioning Evaporator Tube (1) @ Air Conditioning Condenser - Install
Air Conditioning Compressor Hose (1) @ Air Conditioning Condenser - Install - Air Conditioning Compressor Hose Replacement (LFV) , or Air Conditioning Compressor Hose Replacement (LTG)
- Engine Front Splash Shield Replacement (LFV, LTG) - Install
- Front Compartment Air Deflector Replacement - Install
- Underbody Front Air Deflector Replacement - Install
- Engine Mount - Install
- For LFV engine, refer to Engine Mount Replacement .
- For LTG engine, refer to Engine Mount Replacement .
Air Conditioning Evaporator Tube (1) @ Front End Upper Tie Bar - Install
Install NEW sealing washers. (1) [2x]
- Air Conditioning Evaporator Tube (2) - Install
- Air Conditioning Evaporator Thermal Expansion Valve Nut (3) - Install and tighten 22 N.m (16 lb ft)
Air Conditioning Evaporator Tube (1) @ Front Compartment Inner Side Rail - Install
- Air Conditioning Evaporator Tube Bracket Nut (2) - Install and tighten 9 N.m (80 lb in)
Air Conditioning Compressor Hose (1) @ Air Conditioning Evaporator Tube - Install - Air Conditioning Compressor Hose Replacement (LFV) , or Air Conditioning Compressor Hose Replacement (LTG)
- Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement - Install
- Recharge the refrigerant. Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging (R-1234yf)
- Inspect for refrigerant leaks.
