Installation Procedure

Crankshaft Balancer (2) - Install
Crankshaft Balancer Bolt (1) - Loosely install

CAUTION:
Refer to Fastener Caution .

NOTE:
A second technician is required.

Tighten the crankshaft balancer bolt (2) while holding the crankshaft balancer (3) with the EN-49979 mount retainer to 250 N.m (185 lb ft) plus 45 degrees.
Remove the EN-49979 mount retainer, breaker bar and extension from the crankshaft balancer.
