Instrument Panel Compartment Replacement

Preliminary Procedures Remove the front floor console. Refer to Front Floor Console Replacement . Remove the instrument panel center trim pad. Refer to Instrument Panel Center Trim Pad Replacement . Remove the instrument panel insulator - right side. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Replacement - Right Side .
1	Instrument Panel Compartment Door Procedure Disconnect the instrument panel compartment door dampener from the door. Squeeze the sides of the instrument panel compartment door allowing the door to open past the stops.
2	Instrument Panel Compartment Bolt (Qty: 8) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
3	Instrument Panel Compartment Procedure Release the retainers securing the instrument panel compartment to the instrument panel assembly. Disconnect the electrical connections. Transfer all necessary components.
