Upper Oil Pan Cleaning and Inspection: Disassemble

Remove the oil pump suction pipe bolts (1).
Remove the oil pump suction pipe (2).

Remove the oil level switch retainer (3).
Remove the oil level switch bolts [2x] (1).
Remove the oil level switch (2) and spacers [2x] (4).

Ensure proper use of room temperature vulcanizing (RTV) sealant. Use of Room Temperature Vulcanizing (RTV) and Anaerobic Sealant
Clean the sealing material from the gasket mating surfaces on the upper oil pan (1).
