  3. Engine Front Cover Gasket (1) - Install
  4. Engine Front Cover (2) - Install
  5. Engine Front Cover Bolt (3) - Install, but do NOT tighten[6x]

    EN-46109-2  Guide Pins (1) - Remove [2x]

  7. Crankshaft front oil seal installation sleeve (2) - Remove and DISCARD

    Engine Front Cover Bolt (1) - Install, but do NOT tighten [2x]

    Engine Front Cover Bolt - Tighten in sequence[8x]32 N.m (24 lb ft)

    Crankshaft Sprocket (1) - Install

    Install the EN-51265  locking tool (1).

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

    CAUTION:

    This vehicle is equipped with torque-to-yield or single use fasteners. Install a NEW torque-to-yield or single use fastener when installing this component. Failure to replace the torque-to-yield or single use fastener could cause damage to the vehicle or component.

    NOTE:

    The crankshaft timing pulley bolt is left hand thread. The keyway in the crankshaft should match up with the timing pulley and result in 90° ATDC.

    NOTE:

    Install a NEW bolt.

    Crankshaft Sprocket Bolt (1) - Install

    Tighten

    1. First Pass 100 N.m (74 lb ft)
    2. Final Pass an additional 120 degrees

    Remove the EN-51265  locking tool (1).

  14. Timing Belt Replacement  - Install
