Removal Procedure

- Intake Manifold - Remove - Intake Manifold Replacement
Engine Wiring Harness Ground Bolt (1) - Remove [2x]
- Engine Wiring Harness (2) - Reposition away
Exhaust Manifold and Turbocharger Assembly (2) - Remove - Exhaust Manifold Replacement (LWN)
- Camshaft - Remove - Camshaft Replacement
- Glow Plug - Remove - Glow Plug Replacement
Cylinder Head Bolt (1) - Remove and DISCARD[10x]
Cylinder Head (1) - Remove
- Cylinder Head Gasket (2) - Remove and DISCARD
- Cylinder Head (1) - Clean and inspect - Cylinder Head Cleaning and Inspection
Ensure the cylinder head alignment pins (1) remain in the engine block.
- If replacing the cylinder head, transfer all parts as necessary. Cylinder Head Disassemble
