Connecting Rod Bearing Grade Chart Method

Inspect the bearing grade specifications located on the front crankshaft counterweight (1).
Inspect the main bearing bore specification located on the front of the engine block (1).
- Determine the correct bearing grade. Refer to Connecting Rod Bearings Selection Specifications .
- Verify that the bearing clearance is within specification using the Plastic Gauging Method.
