Installation Procedure
WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
- Ensure ALL fittings are clean and dry prior to assembly.
Position the NEW fuel feed pipe (1) on the vehicle.
- Install the NEW fuel feed pipe (1) to the fuel injection fuel rail and start the fitting by hand.
- Install the NEW fuel feed pipe (1) in the clip (2).
Install the NEW fuel feed pipe (1) to the fuel pump (3) and tighten the fitting by hand.
- Install the NEW fuel feed pipe (1) in the clip (2).
Install the NEW fuel feed pipe (2) in the clips (3).
- Install the fuel feed pipe clip bolt (1) and tighten to 15 N.m (11 lb ft).
- NOTE:
Tighten the fuel feed pipe fittings in alternating increments.
Tighten the NEW fuel feed pipe (1) at the fuel pump (3) to 30 N.m (22 lb ft).
- NOTE:
Tighten the fuel feed pipe fittings in alternating increments.
Tighten the NEW fuel feed pipe (1) at the fuel injection fuel rail (3) to 30 N.m (22 lb ft).
- Install the water pump inlet pipe and hoses. Water Pump Inlet Pipe Replacement (LWN)
- Throttle Body - Install - Throttle Body Assembly Replacement
- Replace the fuel filter. Fuel Filter Replacement
- Prime the fuel system. Fuel System Priming
- With the engine running, check the fuel system for leaks.
- Engine Cover - Install - Engine Cover Replacement
