Throttle Body Assembly Replacement

Preliminary Procedures

  1. Disconnect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Single Battery) , or Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Dual Battery)
  2. Disconnect the charge air cooler outlet duct from the throttle body. Charge Air Cooler Outlet Air Hose Replacement 
1 Throttle Body Bolt [4x]
CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .


Tighten 
11 N.m (97 lb in)
2 Throttle Body Assembly

Procedure

  1. Disconnect the throttle body electrical connector.
  2. Using a scan tool, perform the idle air control reset function.
3 Throttle Body Gasket
NOTE:

The throttle body gasket is one time use. A NEW gasket must installed whenever it is removed.
