Oil Pump - Remove - Oil Pump Replacement

Push down the balance shaft thrust plate torsion spring (1) and install EN-46330 tension pin (2).

Balance Shaft Driven Gear Bolt (1) - Loosen
Idler Shaft Sprocket Bolt (2) - Loosen

Balance Shaft Retainer Bolt (1) - Remove [2x]
Balancer Chain Adjust Guide (2) - Remove

Remove the balance shaft driven gear bolt (1) and the balance shaft driven sprocket (2).
Remove the balancer shaft chain (3).

Remove the CMP actuator solenoid valve (1).

NOTE:

Never pull on the reluctor wheel when attempting to remove the actuator.

Separate the CMP actuator and timing chain (2) from the camshaft.

Insert a tie strap (1) through the center of the actuator and over the reluctor wheel.

Remove the crankshaft sprocket (1), and key (2).
