Circuit/System Verification

    NOTE:

    If contaminants are noticed in the fuel, a fuel system cleaning may be necessary. Refer to Contaminants-in-Fuel Diagnosis .

  1. Verify that DTCs P2264, or P2269 are not set.
    • Go to next step: If DTCs P2264, or P2269 are not set 
  2. Verify there is no water in the fuel.
    • Go to next step: If no water present in the fuel 
  3. Ignition ON.
  4. Verify the Water In Fuel lamp turns ON and OFF when commanded with a scan tool.
    • Go to next step: If the Water in Fuel lamp turns ON and OFF 
  5. All OK
