Water-in-Fuel Draining

- Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
- Attach a small piece of hose to the fuel filter drain plug.
- Place an approved fuel-resistant container under the fuel filter.
Open the fuel filter drain plug (1) until the water contaminated fuel seeps from the fuel filter drain plug.
- Prime the fuel system until only diesel fuel is visible. Fuel System Priming
- Tighten the fuel filter drain plug.
- Remove the container and hose.
