Removal Procedure
Refer to Brake Fluid Irritant Warning .
Refer to Brake Fluid Effects on Paint and Electrical Components Caution .
Always connect or disconnect the wiring harness connector from the EBCM/EBTCM with the ignition switch in the OFF position. Failure to observe this precaution could result in damage to the EBCM/EBTCM.
- Place the ignition switch in the OFF position,
- Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
- Clean the electronic brake control module and brake pressure modulator valve assembly of any accumulated dirt and debris.
Electrical Connector(1)@Electronic Brake Control Module - Disconnect
Master Cylinder Secondary Brake Pipe Fitting (1) - Disconnect
- Cap the brake pipe fitting to prevent brake fluid loss and contamination.
Master Cylinder Primary Brake Pipe Fitting (1) - Disconnect
- Cap the brake pipe fitting to prevent brake fluid loss and contamination.
Left Rear Brake Pipe Fitting (1) - Disconnect
- Cap the brake pipe fitting to prevent brake fluid loss and contamination.
Right Rear Brake Pipe Fitting (1) - Disconnect
- Cap the brake pipe fitting to prevent brake fluid loss and contamination.
Right Front Brake Pipe Fitting (1) - Disconnect
- Cap the brake pipe fitting to prevent brake fluid loss and contamination.
Left Front Brake Pipe Fitting (1) - Disconnect
- Cap the brake pipe fitting to prevent brake fluid loss and contamination.
Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Bracket Bolt (1) - Remove[3x]
