Removal Procedure

- Disconnect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Single Battery) , or Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Dual Battery)
- Ignition Lock Cylinder - Remove - Ignition Lock Cylinder Replacement
- Theft Deterrent Module - Remove - Theft Deterrent Module Replacement
Disconnect the electrical connector (1).
Use the J-42759 release tool (1) to release the lock tabs on the ignition and start switch (2).
- Remove the ignition and start switch (2) from the ignition lock cylinder case.
