Removal Procedure

- Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
- Remove the front tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (Without Dual Rear Wheels) , or Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (With Dual Rear Wheels)
Front Shock Absorber (2) - Remove - Shock Absorber Replacement
- Front Stabilizer Shaft Link - Remove - Stabilizer Shaft Link Replacement
Front Coil Spring (2) - Remove - Front Spring Replacement (without C7I) , or Front Spring Replacement (with C7I)
Front Lower Control Arm Ball Stud Nut (1)@Front Lower Control Arm Ball Stud (2) - Remove
Using the J-45851 Ball Joint Separator Protector Adapters (3) and the CH-43631 Ball Joint Separator (1) as shown, separate the front lower control arm ball stud (2) from the steering knuckle.
