Disassembly Procedure

  1. Steering Gear - Remove - Steering Gear Replacement (Without LWN) , or Steering Gear Replacement (With LWN)

    Pitman Arm(3) - Remove - Pitman Arm Replacement

    Remove the steering gear pitman shaft housing cover (3). Steering Gear Pitman Shaft Replacement

    Remove the pitman arm boot (7) from the steering gear housing (1).

  5. Remove and DISCARD the steering gear pinion shaft dust seal (6) from the steering gear housing (1).
  6. Remove and DISCARD the steering gear pitman shaft seal retaining ring (5) from the steering gear housing (1).
  7. Remove and DISCARD the steering gear pitman shaft washer (4) from the steering gear housing (1).
  8. Remove and DISCARD the steering gear pinion shaft seal (3) from the steering gear housing (1).
  9. Remove and DISCARD the steering gear pinion shaft bearing (2) from the steering gear housing (1).
