Installation Procedure

- CAUTION:
From underneath the vehicle, guide the left side of the power steering gear outlet hose (1) into the engine compartment and then maneuver the right side of the hose into position on the vehicle frame.
Power Brake Booster Inlet Hose Bracket (2) - Install[2x]
- Power Brake Booster Inlet Hose Bracket Bolt (1) - Install and tighten[2x]5 N.m (44 lb in)
Power Steering Fluid Reservoir Inlet Hose(2) @ Power Steering Gear Outlet Hose - Install
- Power Steering Fluid Reservoir Inlet Hose Clamp(1) @ Power Steering Gear Outlet Hose - Engage
Install a NEW power steering gear outlet hose seal (2) on the power steering gear outlet hose.
Apply a small amount of power steering fluid on the seal to aid in installation.
- Power Steering Gear Outlet Hose(1) @ Steering Gear - Install and tighten34 N.m (25 lb ft)
- Engine Protection Shield - Install - Engine Protection Shield Replacement
- Front Wheelhouse Splash Shield-Right Side - Install - Wheelhouse Splash Shield Replacement (Left Side) , or Wheelhouse Splash Shield Replacement (Right Side)
- Front Wheelhouse Splash Shield-Left Side - Install - Wheelhouse Splash Shield Replacement (Left Side) , or Wheelhouse Splash Shield Replacement (Right Side)
- Fill and bleed the power steering system. Power Steering System Bleeding
