Removal Procedure

  1. Remove as much power steering fluid from the power steering fluid reservoir as possible.

    Remove the power brake booster outlet hose strap (1).

    DISCARD the strap.

  3. Power Brake Booster Outlet Hose(2) @ Power Brake Booster - Remove
  4. Remove the power brake booster outlet hose seal (3).

    DISCARD the seal.

  5. Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
  6. Front Wheelhouse Splash Shield-Left Side - Remove - Wheelhouse Splash Shield Replacement (Left Side) , or Wheelhouse Splash Shield Replacement (Right Side)
  7. Engine Protection Shield - Remove - Engine Protection Shield Replacement

    Power Steering Fluid Cooler Hose(1) @ Steering Gear - Remove

  9. Remove the power steering fluid cooler hose seal (2).

    DISCARD the seal.

  10. Position the power steering fluid cooler hose (1) aside.

    Power Brake Booster Outlet Hose(1) @ Steering Gear - Remove

  12. Remove the power brake booster outlet hose seal (2).

    DISCARD the seal.

    From underneath the vehicle, guide the power brake booster outlet hose (1) clear of the vehicle frame and downwards out of the engine compartment.
