Removal Procedure

- Remove as much power steering fluid from the power steering fluid reservoir as possible.
- Charge Air Cooler Outlet Air Hose - Remove - Charge Air Cooler Outlet Air Hose Replacement
Remove the power brake booster outlet hose strap (1).
DISCARD the strap.
- Power Brake Booster Inlet Hose(2) @ Power Brake Booster - Remove
- Remove the power brake booster inlet hose seal (3).
DISCARD the seal.
- Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
- Front Wheelhouse Splash ShieldLeft Side - Remove - Wheelhouse Splash Shield Replacement (Left Side) , or Wheelhouse Splash Shield Replacement (Right Side)
- Engine Protection Shield - Remove - Engine Protection Shield Replacement
Power Brake Booster Inlet Hose Bracket Bolt (1) - Remove[2x]
- Power Brake Booster Inlet Hose Bracket (2) - Remove[2x]
- CAUTION:
Refer to Power Steering Hose Disconnected Caution .
Power Brake Booster Inlet Hose(1) @ Power Steering Pump - Remove
- Remove the power brake booster inlet hose seal (2).
DISCARD the seal.
- NOTE:
Note the routing of the power brake booster inlet hose prior to removal to ensure proper reinstallation.
Manipulate the power brake booster inlet hose from within the engine compartment and out of the vehicle.
CAUTION:
Refer to Power Steering Hose Disconnected Caution .
