Installation Procedure

    Reroute the power brake booster inlet hose within the engine compartment.

    Install a NEW power brake booster inlet hose seal (2) on the power brake booster inlet hose.

    Apply a small amount of power steering fluid on the seal to aid in installation.

  3. Power Brake Booster Inlet Hose(1) @ Power Steering Pump - Install and tighten38 N.m (28 lb ft)

    Power Brake Booster Inlet Hose Bracket (2) - Install[2x]

  5. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  6. Power Brake Booster Inlet Hose Bracket Bolt (1) - Install and tighten[2x]5 N.m (44 lb in)
  7. Engine Protection Shield - Install - Engine Protection Shield Replacement
  8. Lower the vehicle.

    Install a NEW power brake booster inlet hose seal (3) on the power brake booster inlet hose.

    Apply a small amount of power steering fluid on the seal to aid in installation.

  10. Power Brake Booster Inlet Hose(2) @ Power Brake Booster - Install and tighten34 N.m (25 lb ft)
  11. Install a NEW power brake booster outlet hose strap (1).
  12. Front Wheelhouse Splash ShieldLeft Side - Install - Wheelhouse Splash Shield Replacement (Left Side) , or Wheelhouse Splash Shield Replacement (Right Side)
  13. Charge Air Cooler Outlet Air Hose - Install - Charge Air Cooler Outlet Air Hose Replacement
  14. Fill and bleed the power steering system. Power Steering System Bleeding
