Removal Procedure

  1. Recover the refrigerant. Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging 
  2. Front Grille - Remove - Front Grille Replacement (Chevrolet) , or Front Grille Replacement (GMC)

    Remove the battery tray. (3) Battery Tray Replacement

    Air Conditioning Evaporator Tube Clip Bolt (3) @ Blower Case Assembly - Remove

  5. Air Conditioning Evaporator Tube Nut (1) @ Air Conditioning Evaporator - Remove
  6. Air Conditioning Evaporator Tube (4) @ Air Conditioning Evaporator - Remove
  7. Remove and DISCARD the sealing washer. (2) Air Conditioning System Seal Replacement

    Auxiliary Air Conditioning Evaporator Front Tube (1) @ Air Conditioning Evaporator Tube - Remove - Auxiliary Air Conditioning Evaporator Front Tube Replacement (Front)

    Air Conditioning Evaporator Tube Nut (3) @ Air Conditioning Condenser - Remove

  10. Air Conditioning Evaporator Tube (2) @ Air Conditioning Condenser - Remove
  11. Remove and DISCARD the sealing washer. (1) Air Conditioning System Seal Replacement 
  12. Remove the air conditioning evaporator tube (2) from the vehicle.
