Installation Procedure

    Install the air conditioning evaporator tube (2) to the vehicle.

  2. Install a NEW sealing washer. (1) Air Conditioning System Seal Replacement 
  3. Air Conditioning Evaporator Tube (2) @ Air Conditioning Condenser - Install
  4. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  5. Air Conditioning Evaporator Tube Nut (3) @ Air Conditioning Condenser - Install and tighten 22 N.m (16 lb ft)

    Auxiliary Air Conditioning Evaporator Front Tube (1) @ Air Conditioning Evaporator Tube - Install - Auxiliary Air Conditioning Evaporator Front Tube Replacement (Front)

    Install a NEW sealing washer. (2) Air Conditioning System Seal Replacement 

  8. Air Conditioning Evaporator Tube (4) @ Air Conditioning Evaporator - Install
  9. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  10. Air Conditioning Evaporator Tube Nut (1) @ Air Conditioning Evaporator - Install and tighten 22 N.m (16 lb ft)
  11. Air Conditioning Evaporator Tube Clip Bolt (3) @ Blower Case Assembly - Install and tighten 1.9 N.m (17 lb in)

    Install the battery tray. (3) Battery Tray Replacement

  13. Front Grille - Install - Front Grille Replacement (Chevrolet) , or Front Grille Replacement (GMC)
  14. Recharge the refrigerant. Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging 
  15. Inspect for refrigerant leaks.
