Installation Procedure

- Prior to installing the air conditioning compressor perform the air conditioning compressor oil balancing procedure. Air Conditioning Compressor Oil Balancing
Install the air conditioning compressor (1) to the vehicle.
- Air Conditioning Compressor Stud (2) @ Air Conditioning Compressor (1) - Install and tighten 9 N.m (80 lb in)
- Air Conditioning Compressor Bolt (4) @ Air Conditioning Compressor (1) - Install and tighten [2x] 22 N.m (16 lb ft)
- Air Conditioning Compressor Nut (3) @ Air Conditioning Compressor (1) - Install and tighten 22 N.m (16 lb ft)
- Connect all electrical connectors.
Air Conditioning Compressor Hose (1) @ Air Conditioning Compressor - Install - Air Conditioning Compressor Hose Replacement (LWN) , or Air Conditioning Compressor Hose Replacement (L96, LC8, LV1)
Air Conditioning Compressor and Condenser Hose (1) @ Air Conditioning Compressor - Install - Air Conditioning Compressor and Condenser Hose Replacement (LWN) , or Air Conditioning Compressor and Condenser Hose Replacement (L96, LC8)
Drive Belt (2) @ Air Conditioning Compressor - Install - Drive Belt Replacement
Front Wheelhouse Splash Shield- Left Side (3) - Install - Wheelhouse Splash Shield Replacement (Left Side)
- Recharge the refrigerant. Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging
- Inspect for refrigerant leaks.
