Removal Procedure

  1. Drain the cooling system. Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill LWN) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE 47716 LWN) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static LC8, LV1, L96) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE47716 LC8, LV1, L96) 
  2. Engine Cover - Remove - Engine Cover Replacement
  3. Engine Mount Bracket- Left Side - Remove - Engine Mount Bracket Replacement - Left Side

    Fuel Feed Hose Protector Nut (1) - Remove

  5. Fuel Feed Hose Protector Bolt (2) - Remove
  6. Fuel Feed Hose Protector (3) - Remove

    Engine Oil Cooler Inlet Hose(2) @ Engine Oil Cooler Pipe - Disconnect - Engine Oil Cooler Inlet Hose Replacement (LWN)

    Transmission Fluid Cooler Pipe Bracket Bolt (3) - Remove

  9. Engine Oil Cooler Outlet Hose Clamp(1) - Disengage - Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type 
  10. Engine Oil Cooler Pipe Bracket Bolt(2) - Remove[2x]

    Transmission Fluid Cooler Pipe Clip(1) - Disengage

  12. Engine Oil Cooler Pipe Bracket Bolt(2) - Remove
  13. Engine Oil Cooler Pipe(3) - Remove
